Q. How does the Holiday voucher system work?
A. Sunset Travel through our affiliated resorts offers a selection of holiday accommodation with special rates reduced by up to 50%. On the purchase of a $99 Sunset Travel voucher you are entitled to the special discounted rate for a 5 to 7 night holiday and with your $99 voucher you will receive a bonus $59 voucher that entitles you to an extra 2 or 3 night holiday for your use on another occasion. You might wish to extend your stay and you can do so as the vouchers can be used in any combination. For example, by combining a $59 voucher with a $99 voucher you will be entitled to a 10 night stay and $158 will be deducted from the discounted rate. By combining two $99 vouchers you will be entitled to a two-week stay and $198 will be deducted from the discounted rate. Each Sunset Travel voucher acts as a deposit and will be deducted from the discounted rate when the vouchers are presented to the resort on arrival.

Q. How do I book my a holiday using the vouchers?
A. Call the resort of your choice using the resort phone number shown in the resort pages of our website and advise the resort that you have a Sunset Travel Holiday Booking Certificate. You must present your printed booking certificate and the covering letter at the check-in point, and direct the reservation manager to our website www.sunsettravel.com.au (click on "resorts" then "voucher destinations" then the area in Australia that the resort is situated), to gain access to the advertised discounted rates, otherwise the discounted price will not be honoured.

Q. How far ahead can I book a holiday?
A. You can make a resort booking anywhere between 3-6 months ahead of your holiday date.

Q. Can I get a holiday at this price all year round?
A. This varies as some resorts have extra charges for high season periods.

Q. How long are the holiday vouchers valid for?
A. Sunset Travel holiday vouchers are valid for 18 months from the issue date shown on the voucher.
If you have not used your voucher within 18 months, we will happily arrange to extend your voucher for a further 18 months.

Q. Can I purchase a holiday voucher as a present for someone?
A. Yes. Sunset Travel vouchers are transferable and make a great gift.

Q. Can I have a extra person or children?
A. Yes but this will add an extra cost. You will need to enquire about this with the resort of your choice at the time you make your booking.
